We had a great time in Lucca, Italy today. It was a half-day tour with about an hour of free time. Lucca is a beautiful walled city in Tuscany. We had time for Cappuccinos but didn’t order the cake our guide recommended which was made with vegetables and cinnamon. Today we celebrated Seldon’s birthday. Our waiter brought a cake and we all sang. Tomorrow we tender (don’t dock at port but put down anchor and get shuttled in on the tender boats) into Monte Carlo, Monaco. Our half-day excursion is to Nice, France. I’m really looking forward to seeing Nice.
